Zest is a husband and wife private dining duo with a serious love for big flavours and good times. Inspired by our travels around the world, we cook food that’s bold, vibrant, and made to be shared. Think global influences, punchy spices, and plates that get people talking.
We believe food should be fun, generous, and full of life. Whether it’s an intimate dinner party or a special celebration, our menus are all about bringing energy to the table and turning great ingredients into memorable moments.

Our Story


About Kigh
I was lucky to have found my passion for food at a young age. Inspired by a smoked salmon tagliatelle in a food tech classroom at secondary school, I followed my culinary curiosity through local restaurants in the Hampshire/Berkshire area.
After completing a classical French training programme at Tante Marie Culinary Academy, my journey into fine dining began. Working under Michelin starred chefs such as Heston Blumenthal and John Campbell, I honed my skills and came to understand the importance of each minute detail.
Then came my love for British produce. Working at a country park hotel on the Hampshire/Berkshire border, I got to work collaboratively with the farmers on a regenerative farming project on the hotel grounds. Planning and preparing menus based on what the weather and seasons gave us was fun, fascinating, and exhilarating. Quality, sustainability and minimising waste became a passionate obsession.
In 2019, I moved to Devon in search of new challenges and incredible producers. Meeting my wife, Evie, and eventually taking a honeymoon adventure around Thailand was where first dreamed of Zest. We wanted to bring big flavours, amazing hospitality and great times into people's homes.


About Evie
I’m the heart behind the scenes of Zest, combining a genuine love for great service with a growing passion for the hospitality industry. While my husband brings the creativity and flavour as our chef, I focus on making sure every client feels supported from the very first conversation to the final moments of their event.
I’m a people person who loves hosting and taking care of guests, using food and hospitality to create warm, memorable moments. Though I’m relatively new to hospitality, I’m deeply committed to learning, growing, and delivering thoughtful service that makes each experience feel seamless, welcoming, and well cared for.
